How it works

Game content is delivered only through the authenticated launcher.

  1. Download and install the launcher for your OS.
  2. Sign in with your account.
  3. The launcher verifies your session, fetches patches, and installs the game.
  4. Press Play — your auth token is passed to the client automatically.

Direct downloads of game binaries are blocked on the server. The launcher must send a shared secret header to access /downloads/game/ — see deploy/nginx.conf.example on the host.
